In the song 'What is Another Day' by Maria Mena, she sings: ''You know concrete colored buildings all grow stale.''
What does that mean?

What does ''concrete colored buildings all grow stale,'' mean

Yes, Cyclones Rul gave a very good interpretation.

My interpretation, however, focuses on another aspect, which is the everyday hustle & bustle of this concrete jungle that we live in. After a while, this cacophony-filled routine life becomes dull (stale) & vexing. For the average Joe, many factors bring this about, the most common of which are:

1. lack of inspiration in life (living w/o direction, living w/o love,)
2. being trapped in the cycle of necessity (living through debts, living from paycheck to paycheck,)
3. the rarity of peace & quiet (always on the move, always stressed out,)
4. & in the acquisition of the material, the compromise of the spiritual (emptiness.)

Speaking of ''routine life,'' I think it is another way of saying ''What is another day?,'' do not u think?

What does ''concrete colored buildings all grow stale,'' mean

It can mean many different things depending on who u r & ur past eperiences. To me, it means the following:
Everything in the world is begining to blur together, our lives r becoming extremly repediative.(all the concrete-grey- colored buildings would be this.) What she is saying is we need to 'spice-up' our lives & do something different. Everyone else is wearing jeans so u should to? NO! wear those bright colored parachute pants that u got for christmas last year. Who cares is people stare, it is only because they r so used to doing what everyone else does.
