The detail in European buildings are so much better looking than what Australia, America etc have produced. You would think with time going on we would become smarter and with better technology we would be making even better buildings now? But now everyone is making plain boxes for buildings.
Only Dubai really seems to be doing something original with the futuristic look. l say be old looking or be really futuristic. In the middle is just really boring.
I agree with u that except for some old buildings in NY or a few other US cities, we r boring. I have an apt. in Budapest, Hungary which is 107 years old.It is funky but I love it so much when I am there.I am looking forward to the day when I can stay there.I just arrived back to Las Vegas & am disgusted by the buildings,everything is flat & boring except for the fake casinos.It seems to all come down to builders making fast money where as in Europe the older building were built to last for hundrends of years.They had pride in their work then.
